Jerry Fass - W6KMI

An old time ham (Amateur Radio), my "Uncle Jerry" recently passed away at 91 years of age. Jerry was the greatest guy, still active on the air, creating his own web page on the Internet and running around fixing everyone's computer until the very end.

As a kid Uncle Jerry and his wife Lillian drove 10 hours by car to join our family for Thanksgiving dinner every year. Always quick with a funny joke, he was the best guy to hang around with. His radio shack was "nerd heaven" with every kind of radio and computer around, even a teletype!
With just a little cajoling and arm twisting, Uncle Jerry even got my Mom, my Uncle David and me into amateur radio too. Since Jerrry's web site will drop off the net, I've decided to mirror it here. Here's to ya Jerry!

Jerry's Ham Shack

It really was a "shack", hand-built by Jerry, he lived it in for a few years with his wife while he built the rest of the house. He had the full collection of radio gear and computers here, and a few teletypes, model train, sattelite TV... nerd heaven !.
